Rocking Star Yash’s highly anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has officially been postponed. The makers shared the update through their social media handles, leaving fans surprised and disappointed.
Many movie lovers were eagerly waiting for a potential box-office clash between Toxic and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. However, the sudden announcement from the team has changed those expectations.
The makers stated that the film, shot in Kannada and English, was designed to connect with audiences both in India and across the world. After years of dedicated effort, the team had initially planned to release the movie on March 19. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created challenges in reaching the widest possible global audience. Considering the interests of partners and audiences, the team has taken the difficult but carefully considered decision to postpone the release. The makers also thanked fans for their understanding, patience, and continued support.
As per the latest announcement, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will now release in cinemas worldwide on June 4, 2026, in English and multiple Indian languages.
While the delay may disappoint fans, it also gives the Toxic team more time to plan stronger promotional campaigns. The extended timeline could help the makers rebuild excitement and generate even greater buzz before the film’s theatrical release.
The film also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, Tovino Thomas, Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, and Amit Tiwari in pivotal roles. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, this pan-Indian action entertainer features music composed by Ravi Basrur, Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and others.
