Simbu lands in trouble yet again
Published on Sep 21, 2018 1:07 am IST

It looks like controversies will never stop haunting Tamil actor Simbu. While his current slate of films including Nawaab and the Tamil remake of Atharintiki Daredhi have brought him back to spotlight, the controversy surrounding the debacle of AAA, which released in 2017, has landed him in trouble yet again.

Few months ago, AAA’s producer, Michael Rayappan lodged a complaint against Simbu stating that he suffered a huge loss because of the actor’s unprofessionalism, and he also asked for a compensation of Rs 20 crores. When Nadigar Sangam issued a notice to Simbu, he apologised to the producer for the film’s debacle. Now, after several months, Michael has filed yet another complaint saying that Simbu shot for only 27 days when he was supposed to allocate 60 days for the film. It remains to be seen what action will Nadigar Sangam take against Simbu this time.

Meanwhile, the actor is in Georgia where he’s shooting for the Tamil remake of Atharintiki Daredhi. Sundar C is directing the film.
