Back in 2017, a Tamil film named Bogan, starring Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swami, and Hansika Motwani, was released in theatres. It was directed by Lakshman, and the film received good critical acclaim. Now this Tamil film is releasing in Telugu with the same name this Friday.
The Telugu version should have hit the screens way back in 2021, but it was postponed for unknown reasons. When Bogan released, there were rumors that Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja would star in its Telugu remake, and few reports even claimed that SJ Suryah would reprise Arvind Swamy’s role.
But the project didn’t take off, and now, after a long gap of six years, the Telugu version is releasing on big screens. Not many know about the Telugu version’s release due to lack of promotions. Bogan also featured Akshara Gowda, Nassar, Ponvannan, and Naren in crucial roles. Famous choreographer and director Prabhu Deva produced it along with Ishari Ganesh.
