Akshay Kumar is back with a new film titled Sky Force, which hit screens on January 24, 2025, during the Republic Day weekend with relatively low buzz.
However, positive word of mouth helped the film perform well on its opening day, earning ₹15 crore in India—a decent start.
On its second day, Sky Force showed impressive growth, earning ₹25 crore on Saturday, which has now surprised trade analysts.
With total collections crossing ₹40 crore so far, and Republic Day Sunday expected to further boost numbers, the film seems to be gaining momentum. However, Sky Force needs to collect ₹160 crore to break even.
