The box-office juggernaut Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which stands as the third highest-grossing film in history behind only Avatar and Avengers: Endgame, has finally made its digital debut in India. Amazon’s streaming platform Prime Video has rolled out the Marvel blockbuster through its early-access rental option, with audiences able to rent the mega-hit for Rs. 299.
The film is available in multiple Indian languages, with Telugu getting prominent attention alongside Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. This gives fans across the country a chance to experience the Marvel spectacle from the comfort of their homes. It is also available on Apple TV, where the film is offered in regional languages as well. However, viewers will have to pay Rs. 399 to rent the film or Rs. 599 to buy it.
The spectacle-loaded Marvel tentpole is directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings fame Destin Daniel Cretton. Powerhouse star Tom Holland reprises his iconic role as Spider-Man, with global fashion icon Zendaya, Stranger Things breakout sensation Sadie Sink and action veteran Jon Bernthal in key roles.
The film is backed by Kevin Feige and veteran producer Amy Pascal. With its massive theatrical run and huge fan following, audiences have been eagerly waiting to revisit Peter Parker’s latest adventure without having to head back to theatres.
