Bollywood beauty Tripti Dimri grabbed nationwide attention with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. The actress will also be seen opposite pan-India star Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated action drama, Spirit. Tripti will soon be seen in Dhadak 2, which releases on August 1.
In a recent interview with DC while promoting Dhadak 2, Tripti opened up about her dream role. She said she would love to portray a negative role like Kajol’s grey-shaded character in Gupt. “Kajol was brilliant in Gupt. I’d love to do something like that. Earlier, negative characters were treated as a separate category – villains. But today, anyone can play a layered character with grey shades. I’d love to explore that space and learn something new,” she added.
In Dhadak 2, Tripti will be seen romancing Siddhanth Chaturvedi. The film is an official remake of the acclaimed Tamil movie, Pariyerum Perumal. Shaziya Iqbal is the director, while hotshot Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar produced it in association with Adar Poonawalla.
