Sree Vishnu’s upcoming films, Mrithyunjay and Vishnu Vinyasam, were initially announced for release in the same timeframe. February 27 and February 28 were locked as the release dates for Mrithyunjay and Vishnu Vinyasam, respectively, which came as a big surprise to cinephiles.
However, at the teaser launch event of Vishnu Vinyasam, Sree Vishnu revealed that the potential self-clash has now been averted. According to him, Mrithyunjay has moved out of the competition. The actor is relieved, as the clash between his own films has been avoided.
The new release date of Mrithyunjay will be announced officially tomorrow, as stated by Sree Vishnu. The industry buzz suggests that Mrithyunjay might arrive in the first week of March. The postponement was on the cards, as it would have been a herculean task for any actor to promote two films at the same time.
