Director Sreenu Vaitla and hero Vishnu Manchu had joined forces for the first time for their 2007 comedy entertainer, Dhee. The film was a huge blockbuster. Since then, there have been numerous speculations about a possible sequel to the film. Even both Sreenu and Vishnu had earlier talked about reuniting for Dhee 2.
Amid intense speculations for the last few months, Vishnu recently confirmed that Sreenu Vaitla is indeed penning the script for Dhee sequel. The actor-director duo will be coming up with an official announcement in the second half of this year as soon as Sreenu wraps up the script. Both Vishnu and Sreenu are in need of a solid hit, and Dhee sequel could just deliver that.
