We already reported that Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming family entertainer, Srimanthudu, will be releasing in Tamil along with the Telugu version. And now, the title for the film’s Tamil version has been confirmed as Selvandhan.This is the first time ever a Mahesh Babu’s film will be releasing in Tamil along with the Telugu version, and with this, Mahesh’s stardom will be extended in the Tamil Nadu region.

In Srimanthudu, Mahesh plays a rich NRI who comes to his village in India and adopts it. He, in the process, locks horns with the local thugs. Writer cum director Koratala Srinivas designed Mahesh’s character with style and virtue. The songs composed by Devi Sri Prasad have become chartbusters and are escalating the expectations with each passing day.

Mythri Movie Makers are the film’s producers while Mahesh himself is co-producing it. Shruti Haasan plays Mahesh’s love interest and the film has Jagapati Babu, Sukanya, Rahul Ravindran, Poorna playing important cameos.
