It’s well known that Kollywood star Dhanush’s acclaimed action drama, Karnan, will soon be remade in Telugu. Hero Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas will be reprising Dhanush’s role in the Telugu version. Even though an official announcement is awaited, the ongoing buzz is that SVSC and Brahmotsavam director Sreekanth Addala will be helming this intense rural drama.
Now, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, star Tollywood character artiste Rao Ramesh will be reprising Malayalam actor-filmmaker Lal’s Yama Raja role in Karnan’s Telugu remake. Lal has won unanimous accolades for his portrayal of Yama Raja, and needless to say, Rao Ramesh playing the role will surely raise the expectations. Stay tuned for further details.
