Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, daughter of Radhika and Sarathkumar, caught everyone’s attention earlier today when she met BJP’s general secretary Muralidhar Rao. The meeting, which took place in Chennai, fuelled rumours that she is planning to join BJP soon.

However, Varalaxmi denied these rumours saying that she isn’t joining any political party. Turns out that BJP has initiated an outreach program where some of its leaders will go and meet celebrities from various fields to appriase them about Narendra Modi’s work so far and take feedback from them. And the meeting with Varalaxmi too was for the same purpose.

“Had a wonderful meeting regarding the changes that BJP can do to better our nation with @PMuralidharRao regarding womens safety n other issues..good to know @narendramodi ji wants our feedback..contrary to all the baseless rumours,I have not joined BJP or anyother political party,” Varalaxmi posted on Twitter.
