In December 2023, Yash announced his new project, Toxic. This is Yash’s immediate film after the earth-shattering blockbuster KGF 2, and hence, audiences across the nation are looking forward to it. Toxic will be helmed by actress-turned-director Geetu Mohandas. “A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups” is its tagline.

For a long time, there have been rumors that Bollywood star heroine Kareena Kapoor will play the leading lady in this flick. According to a recent report, Kareena will play the sister of Yash and not his love interest. The report further claims that Toxic is a film about siblings and that Geetu Mohandas has been interested in roping the B-town diva for this vital role. If this report turns out to be true, it will mark Kareena Kapoor’s Kannada debut.

If Kareena plays Yash’s sister, who will play his love interest? Will there be any female lead roles? We must wait for a few more days to know these details. Toxic will be produced by Venkat K Narayana under the banner of KVN Productions. The biggie will hit the big screens on 10 April 2025. Toxic marks the 19th film in Yash’s career.
