After the blockbuster success of Karuppu, Suriya’s new project, tentatively titled #Suriya48, has now been announced. TJ Gnanavel will direct the film, marking the reunion of the actor-director duo after the massive success of Jai Bhim.
For the first time in her career, Kayadu Lohar has landed the golden opportunity to star opposite a leading hero. So far, the actress has appeared in films featuring mid-range heroes, but she has now been cast as the female lead in Suriya’s 48th film.
It is being said that the movie is based on a real-life personality. The project will be bankrolled by leading production house Hombale Films. Sai Abhyankkar will compose the music, while S.R. Kathir is the cinematographer.
