Ever since Taapsee shifted to Mumbai, rumours have been rife that she is going to concentrate more on Bollywood. Taapsee had denied these rumours, and now, she has finally managed to grab a lead role in an upcoming action film in Hindi.
Taapsee is going to team up with Akshay Kumar in an untitled action film to be directed by Neeraj Pandey. In the past, Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey had worked together for Special 26 and it was critically acclaimed. Interestingly, Taapsee is going to play the role of an undercover agent in this action film. On several occasions, she had mentioned about her thirst to do different roles and the actress is thrilled with the role Neeraj Pandey offered her.
She will soon be seen in another Hindi film RunningShaadi dot com and in Tamil, she is going to make a guest appearance in Aishwarya Dhanush’s Vai Raja Vai.
