Released in 2014, Nikhil’s supernatural thriller, Karthikeya, went on to become a huge hit. The film had talented Telugu actress Swathi as the female lead. Now that Karthikeya 2 has been launched, everyone was curious to know if Swathi will be part of the movie.
In a latest interview, Nikhil confirmed that Swathi is indeed part of Karthikeya sequel. Swathi’s role begins from where it ended in the first part. On the other hand, the makers are also planning on rope in another actress. The film is slated to release during the Dasara festive season.
Chandoo Mondeti is directing Karthikeya 2 and People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners are bankrolling the film.
