Popular for her roles in films like Chatrapathi, Mirapakay and Krishna etc, character artiste Karate Kalyani aka Harikatha Kalyani has made it to the much celebrated Limca Book of Records.
A prolific Harikatha artiste, Padala Kalyani gave a nonstop Harikatha performance through her Adibhatla Kala Peetham between June 20 to 25 in Hyderabad last year. The marathon performance went on for 114 hours 45 minutes and 55 seconds.
Recognizing her record breaking feat, the Limca Book of Records officials recently included Kalyani’s name in the latest edition.
