Dhanush was recently seen in the family entertainer Idly Kadai, which he himself directed. The film, set against a rural backdrop, featured Nithya Menen as the female lead. Idly Kadai’s theatrical run has now come to an end, and the movie is gearing up for its OTT debut.
According to reports, Idly Kadai will be available for streaming from October 31, indicating a four-week theatrical window. Netflix holds the post-theatrical streaming rights, and an official announcement regarding the OTT release date is yet to be made.
Arun Vijay played the antagonist, while Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, Samuthirakani, Rajkiran, Parthiban, Vadivukkarasi, and Ilavarasu appeared in prominent roles. G.V. Prakash Kumar composed the tunes, and the film was jointly produced by Aakash Baskaran and Dhanush.
