Vishwak Sen’s latest outing, Funky, was a box office bomb. The comedy drama directed by KV Anudeep received poor reviews from critics. The movie lacked buzz from the very beginning and struggled to achieve even a decent opening. The bad word of mouth further sealed its fate.
According to the latest reports, Funky might likely make its digital premiere on March 13. Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights, and an official announcement about the streaming date is yet to be made. It needs to be seen how Funky fares in the digital space.
Kayadu Lohar played the female lead. Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the movie also stars Naresh Vijayakrishna, Eeswari Rao, Sampath Raj, and Jaykrishna in key roles. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music.
