After scoring a big hit with his debut film Pellichooopulu, director Tharun Bhascker is all set to unveil his second feature film Ee Nagariniki Emaindhi in few weeks. Produced by Suresh Babu, the film revolves around four friends, who collaborate with each other to make short films.
In a candid confession, Tharun said that it is really hard to figure out what makes a film click with the audience, even after making a successful film. “In the process, I’ve only realised that no one can ever fully comprehend the dynamics of creating successful cinema here. You only do what you love and hope people find some honestly in it and relate to what you are trying to say,” Tharun said.
Meanwhile, he has revealed more details about the characters in the comedy film, which stars Vishwak Sen and Anisha Ambrose in lead roles. “This next one is about four friends – Karthik (Sushanth Reddy), a manager at an elite pub, great at wine tasting and really bad at choosing friends. Vivek (Vishwaksen Naidu), his best friend, works in a top software firm but is addicted to alcohol & denies it totally. Uppu (Venkatesh Kakumanu), a wedding film editor who always orders only soft drinks or milkshakes at the bar. The last one is someone who might ring a bell – Kaushik version 2.0 (Abhinav Gomatam). Along with the boys, Anisha Ambrose & Simran Chowdhary play crucial roles in the film,” Tharun revealed.
Vivek Sagar has scored the music and Niketh Bommireddy is the cinematographer. The film is likely to release in the second half of June or early July.
