The Telugu satirical comedy Gaayapadda Simham (GPS), written and directed by debutant Kasyap Sreenivas, has officially made its transition to digital streaming. The film features acclaimed director Tharun Bhascker in the lead role, sharing the screen alongside Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary.
Following its initial theatrical release on May 1, 2026, the film is now available in multiple languages to worldwide audiences on Amazon Prime Video. Viewers who enjoy sharp satirical comedies and self-referential meta-humour can now experience the movie from the comfort of their homes.
While the project generated notable curiosity prior to its release, its overall theatrical response ultimately proved to be poor. Consequently, the creators and distributors are now pinning all their hopes on a stronger, more favourable reception across the OTT platform.
Adding significant weight to the ensemble, veteran actor JD Chakravarthy portrays the main antagonist, while Sree Vishnu makes a special appearance in an extended cameo role.
The film is backed by the collaborative production efforts of Zee Studios, Sapta Aswa Media Works, and POV Stories. Additionally, the film’s distinct musical score and soundtrack were composed by Sweekar Agasthi.
