The Conjuring: Last Rites, the last installment of The Conjuring Universe, emerged as the all-time biggest horror film opener among Hollywood films in India, surpassing the franchise’s very own The Nun. It is also the highest Hollywood opener in India last year. Despite mixed reviews from critics, the movie fared reasonably well in the long run.
The movie is streaming right now on Prime Video and Apple TV, but on a rental basis, limiting its viewership among the Indian audiences. However, here is the good news for Indian fans of The Conjuring franchise. Jio Hotstar will start streaming the film from February 13, 2026, without any additional cost for its subscribers. The horror film will be available for streaming in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu audios from the said date.
Directed by Michael Chaves, the film stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga in the lead roles. The Conjuring: Last Rites is based on the real-life investigations of the Smurl haunting case. The film grossed $494.7 million globally, becoming the highest-grossing film in the series.
