Kajal Aggarwal’s intense social drama The India Story is hitting the big screens tomorrow. The movie revolves around the harmful effects of pesticide farming on the public. Shreyas Talpade plays another key role, while Kajal will be seen as an advocate.
There is very little awareness about the film among moviegoers, and the advance bookings reflect the same. The promotional assets failed to reach the audience effectively, and now it all depends on the content and word of mouth for the film to create an impact at the ticket windows.
On top of that, the Telugu and Tamil versions will not be released simultaneously as announced earlier, as the dubbed versions are yet to complete the censor formalities. Only the Hindi version will go ahead as planned.
Chettan DK is the director, and the movie is presented by Zee Studios in association with MIG Production & Studios. The India Story is produced by Sagar B. Shinde.
