The Kashmir Files created a storm at the ticket windows growing bigger each day. The film came with absolutely nil expectations and ended up being one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood.
The film was directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and he received applause from every nook and corner. The director attended the SIIMA award yesterday and he made an important suggestion to everyone.
He was asked to present the best debut Kannada director award. The actor stated that rather than calling as best Kannada or Telugu director, it would be better to address it as the best Indian director of the Kannada language. He further added this is what he believes.
It was an honour to give always Best Debut Director award to @dir_shankarguru for #BadavaRascal at #SIIMA2022
“Rather than calling as best Kannada/Telugu director, let’s start calling best Indian Director of Kannada language”.
