At a time when most of the Bollywood films are failing to post respectable totals, a small-budget film named The Kerala Story is creating waves at the box office. The movie, which amassed over 35 crores nett during its first weekend, is super steady on its weekdays.
After collecting 10 crores nett on its first Monday, the film amassed another 11 crores nett on Tuesday. The total collections now stand at 56 crores nett. The Tuesday collections are on par with the first Saturday numbers. At this speed, the movie should comfortably cross 200 crores nett.
Starring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhu Idnani in crucial roles, the film is directed by Sudipto Sen. The movie is co-written by Sudipto Sen, Suryapal Singh, and Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
