Natural Star Nani’s The Paradise created an all-time record among medium-sized movies in Telangana by earning a distributor share of Rs. 13.3 crores (excluding GST) on the opening day.
On its second day, the action drama earned over Rs. 5 crores share (excluding GST), a sensational hold on a working day. The two-day total is over Rs. 18 crores share (excluding GST). It needs to be noted that The Paradise received mostly negative reviews from critics.
The Telangana setting is helping The Paradise big time, and the business recovery has been very healthy so far in this territory. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film is backed by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas.
