Nani’s The Paradise has achieved a significant milestone in the Hindi market, with the film collecting Rs. 7.2 crore nett in its first weekend. The figure marks Nani’s highest Hindi-market collection to date, surpassing the lifetime collections of his previous releases Dasara and HIT 3 in the North Indian circuit.
The result is particularly notable as The Paradise has managed to register a new career-best for Nani in the Hindi belt within its opening weekend itself. With the film continuing its theatrical run, there is still room for the Hindi-market numbers to grow in the coming days.
Globally, The Paradise has closed its first weekend with a Rs. 155 crore gross, according to the makers, marking Nani’s biggest opening weekend to date. The film has also delivered career-best numbers in Karnataka, where it crossed the Rs. 10 crore mark during the first weekend.
Meanwhile, The Paradise has sold 19.6 lakh tickets on BookMyShow alone. With bookings continuing to remain encouraging, the film now enters the crucial weekdays with considerable momentum.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film stars Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal in key roles. SLV Cinemas has produced the film, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
