The makers of Prabhas’ The Raja Saab have now revealed that the movie earned Rs. 112 crores gross on its opening day worldwide. This is the biggest-ever start for a horror fantasy Indian film.
This is the sixth film of Prabhas to open over Rs. 100 crores at the box office, after Baahubali 2, Saaho, Adipurush, Salaar, and Kalki 2898 AD. Prabhas is the only hero to have six Rs. 100-crore openers in Indian cinema, proving why he is among the biggest stars in the country.
Despite bookings being delayed in Nizam, which is a strong forte of Prabhas, The Raja Saab still earned over Rs. 100 crores, with the majority of collections coming from the Telugu version alone. Also, the fact that the movie collected over Rs. 100 crores, in spite of mixed reviews, shows us the mega stardom of Prabhas.
