Rebel Star Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, failed to live up to expectations. Despite earning over Rs. 100 crores gross on its opening day, the horror-fantasy biggie faced stiff competition at the box office, which impacted its overall collections.
According to the latest update, The Raja Saab has collected Rs. 238 crore gross in its first week worldwide. The film still has a long way to go, and it remains to be seen how it will perform after the holiday season, especially as the word of mouth has not been encouraging.
The big-ticket entertainer is produced by People Media Factory and stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhhi Kumar as the female leads. SS Thaman composed the music, while Sanjay Dutt, Zareena Wahab, and Boman Irani appeared in supporting roles.
