Among the many films that hit the big screens this week, Sahaa managed to grab the attention of moviegoers after the bold challenges made by the lead cast went viral on social media.
The team started visiting theatres to thank the audience, and during one such visit, they expressed disappointment over the show allocations in Hyderabad. Actor Shiva Kumar Kasaram said they were treated unfairly, with just a handful of shows allotted in the city, and that too during morning and afternoon hours.
He says that the audience will turn up for a small film like theirs only for the evening and night shows, as they are the prime hours. Sahaa was released alongside five other new releases this week, while the holdover titles Irumudi and Hanuman Ansh are also doing phenomenal business. Hence, it is becoming very tough for exhibitors to allocate screens in the best manner possible.
For Sahaa to have a good impact, it needs to sell out the shows that have already been provided. Only then will the plexes add more shows for the film, as the scheduling totally depends on demand.
