Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda was a raging success at the ticket windows. The high-octane action drama directed by Boyapati Sreenu satiated the hunger of movie lovers, and it grossed over Rs. 100 crores. Currently, Balayya and Boyapati are busy working on Akhanda 2.
While Pragya Jaiswal played the leading lady in part 1, Samyukta replaced her in this much-anticipated sequel. Terrific performer Aadhi Pinisetty has now come on board, and he will play Balakrishna’s nemesis in this biggie. Previously, Aadhi played the antagonist in Boyapati and Allu Arjun’s Sarainodu and impressed one and all as a ruthless villain.
Akhanda 2 will be out in cinemas on September 25, 2025. The shooting is currently underway. Balayya’s daughter, Tejaswini Nandamuri, will present the film. Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta are bankrolling this full-blown action entertainer under the banner of 14 Reels Plus on a massive budget. Thaman is the music composer.
