Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi is set for a theatrical release on January 10, 2026, as a Pongal special. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film is based on true incidents linked to the Hindi opposition movement in Tamil Nadu.

The makers had initially announced a simultaneous Telugu release as well. However, the latest buzz suggests that the dubbed Telugu version might be postponed to January 23. As of now, promotions for the Telugu version have not begun, and even the trailer is yet to be released.

With the Tollywood box office already jam-packed with multiple releases, there could be a shortage of theatres during the festive window. Hence, if Parasakthi’s Telugu version gets postponed, it could work in favour of all the competing films, including Parasakthi itself.

Sreeleela plays the female lead, while Ravi Mohan essays the antagonist. The film also stars Rana Daggubati, Atharvaa, Basil Joseph, and others in key roles. Parasakthi is produced by Aakash Baskaran under the Dawn Pictures banner, with music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
