It is a known fact that Rajamouli will direct superstar Mahesh Babu for his next film. The pre-production of the film is on as of now and Rajamouli has started casting for the same.
Now, the latest buzz in the film circles is that Rajamouli has locked Indonesian actress, Chelsea Islan as the female lead in the film. The word is that Rajamouli even screen-tested her a few days back.
Chelsea is an American-born Indonesian actress. She rose to fame for her role in the popular sitcom Tetangga Masa Gitu which aired from 2014 to 2017. She won four consecutive Indonesian Choice Awards for Actress of the Year from 2015 until 2018.
Though this news is not yet confirmed, it has gone viral in the film circles. Rajamouli has roped in a top casting agency in the US and it looks like Chelsea has been cast through them. Let’s wait and see if this news is true or not.
