Uppena was supposed to release last year in April but due to the lockdown, it was postponed to February this year and now the film is a smash it making Vaishnav Tej a big hero.
The film was given big deals by several OTT players but the makers did not get tempted and stayed with the big-screen release. It is a known fact that Netflix has bought the rights to the film.
The update now is that they have shelled seven crores for the OTT rights. Buchi Babu Sana is the man behind the film’s success. Mythri Movie Makers have bankrolled this film.
