The female lead in Acharya has been locked and Kajal is doing the film now. Initially, it was Trisha who was doing that role but she backed out of the last minute.
Not many know that even Anushka was offered the role but she politely declined it. Now, we have come to know that as the heroine’s role was not that significant, Anushka had her apprehensions doing this film and she silently said no.
The same happened with Trisha as well, as her role in the film was modified to include star hero’s special role, she also moved out. Only time will tell as to how big was the heroine’s role in the first place.
