Legendary actor-filmmaker duo, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, are braving the insanely high temperatures and are currently filming Thug Life in New Delhi. The duo and the unit shot a crucial scene inside the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir in Delhi’s Aerocity on Sunday. Interestingly, the shoot was held only for 3 hours, from 6 am to 9 am, to avoid the summer heat.

After wrapping up the 3-hour shoot at the iconic temple, Thug Life’s unit moved to the Old City in Delhi to film key interior scenes. The ongoing schedule will conclude on May 11. Popular Tamil stars Simbu, Abhirami, and Vaiyapuri, and others took part in the shoot. While Kamal is looking smashing in a beard avatar, Simbu is sporting a slim look.

Bollywood actors Ali Fazal and Sanya Malhotra also shot for their part in the ongoing Delhi schedule, while Pankaj Tripathi will join the set soon. Trisha Krishnan is the leading lady in this high-budget action drama, while Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Dulquer Salmaan, and Nasser will also be seen in crucial roles. Kamal, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth are jointly bankrolling the project. AR Rahman is composing the music for the movie.
