The legendary lyricist, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry Garu (66) passed away due to lung cancer on November 30 in KIMS hospital, Hyderabad. The sudden demise of the renowned lyricist shook the industry and made his fans left in tears.
Today, his mortal remains were kept at the Film Chamber for public viewing. Actors Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Nani, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, and others paid their last respect to the legend.
Directors SS Rajamouli, Trivikram, Bobby, Gopichand Malineni, and others also offered their condolences. The cremation of Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry Garu has been completed a few minutes ago in Maha Prasthanam, Jubilee Hills.
His elder son Sai Venkata Yogeswara Sharma has completed the formalities. Seetharama Sastry garu was born in Anakapalli, Visakhapatnam on May 20, 1955. He penned many great songs and got many awards for his work. He also conferred with the Padma Shri in 2019.
