Rocking Star Yash’s Toxic is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026. Ahead of the release, the makers hosted a grand Telugu pre-release event in Hyderabad, which witnessed a massive turnout.
Yash thanked Telugu audiences for their unconditional love and support, particularly following the success of KGF, saying such appreciation gives filmmakers the confidence to dream bigger. He also emphasised the growing unity of Indian cinema and called for the industry to come together to take Indian films to the global stage.
Addressing the youngsters at the event, Yash urged them to take responsibility for their own journey and ignore negative voices. He illustrated his message through the story of the steamboat engine, stressing that criticism will always exist but perseverance ultimately matters.
Speaking about Toxic, Yash described the film as bold, original, ambitious and path-breaking, while praising director Geethu Mohandas for creating a story with a strong voice for women.
