Legendary actress Sridevi may have left this world but her legacy continues to inspire young actors across the country. Call it a coincidence, but popular heroines Ileana and Pooja Hegde are going to pay tributes to Sridevi by reprising the yesteryear diva in the remixes of her iconic songs.
It’s been reported already that Pooja Hegde has commenced shooting for Yelluvochi Godaramma song remix for Varun Tej-Harish Shankar’s Valmiki on the Godavari River. This super hit song was featured in Sridevi’s 1982 Telugu hit, Devatha, which also starred Sobhan Babu.
And then, star heroine Ileana will be seen stepping into Sridevi’s shoes for the modern remix of Tera Bimaar Mera Dil song from the 1989 Hindi film, Chaalbaaz. Ileana will soon be grooving to this hit number for Pagalpanti, her upcoming Bollywood film with John Abraham.
