Rishab Shetty became a well-known face after the release and success of the devotional drama Kantara. After 3 years of its release, the sequel, Kantara: Chapter 1, has been taking over the box office now.
The interesting part is that the first movie, Kantara, in the franchise is now trending on Netflix at 4th place in India. It is the Hindi version that is trending, because of the release and good performance of Kantara: Chapter 1.
The prequel is currently performing well at the box office, with around Rs. 250 crore gross worldwide. Amazon Prime Video snagged the digital rights of this biggie.
