Ustaad Bhagat Singh: Here’s why there are no paid premieres

Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh is slated for a grand release tomorrow, and ahead of the big day, the team conducted a press meet to further push the film. Producer Naveen Yerneni, Harish Shankar, and leading ladies Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna graced the event.

At the media interaction, the team revealed why they didn’t opt for paid premieres in India. Since the film is arriving on the Ugadi holiday and not a regular working day, the makers felt it would be better to start with early morning shows rather than paid premieres a day in advance.

Also, it makes sense to skip premieres for a commercial entertainer. R. Parthiban plays the antagonist. S. Thaman composed the background score, while Devi Sri Prasad delivered the songs.
