Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya’s romantic drama Chennai Love Story emerged as a clean box-office hit despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. Initially, Vaishnavi Chaitanya was cast as the female lead, but later, Gouri Priya replaced her.
During Epic promotions, Vaishnavi was asked about the same, to which she replied, “Yes, I was part of that film in the beginning. I couldn’t do it because I was a part of something else during that time. But I am very happy for the team that it brought them a nice success. Sometimes, we just couldn’t be a part of a film because we would have committed to some other project.”
Vaishnavi Chaitanya made it clear that there were no other reasons why she didn’t feature in Chennai Love Story apart from scheduling conflicts. Sri Gouri Priya grabbed the opportunity with both hands and scored success with the romantic drama.
