Superstar Mahesh Babu has collaborated with sensational director SS Rajamouli for the sci-fi mythological entertainer Varanasi. The movie features Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. The team has already started promoting the film and has given interviews to a few Hollywood agencies.
In an interview with Collider, Mahesh Babu revealed that he couldn’t deliver his lines correctly on the first day of shooting after which Prithviraj teased him playfully. He said, “On the first day, I got my dialogue wrong, and so I put my hand on Prithvi’s knee and said sorry. He said that’s not his leg.”
Mahesh Babu stated that he got goosebumps seeing the teaser with the completed VFX and added that he is delighted to be working with Rajamouli. Produced by KL Narayana of Sri Durga Arts, the film features music by MM Keeravani. Varanasi is set to hit the big screens on April 7, 2027.
