Tollywood seems to have taken inspiration from Bollywood when it comes to publicity. Off late most of the makers are now taking publicity for a film tad too seriously. In an attempt to catch the attention of the audience the makers of remake of “Bol Bacchan” have planned something quite innovative.Harsha Chemudu is a well known name in social media today thanks to his short film “Viva” which went viral and has got him instant recognition. In that short film Harsha has acted as a viva teacher who quizzes students, In a similar way the makers of the film are planning to get a video done where Harsha apparently quizzes the two stars of the movie Venkatesh and Ram. Once the video is done it will get uploaded in you tube and kick starts the publicity campaign for the film.
Masala is the tentative title of the film starring Venkatesh and Ram as reported earlier. Anjali and Shazhan Padamsee are playing female leads. This movie is directed by K Vijay Bhaskar and made under Sravanthi banners by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. The audio of the film was supposed to release earlier this month but was postponed later.
It’s good to see the filmmakers trying to explore different publicity campaigns. If the same Trend continues we can expect to see lot more innovation in publicity in the coming days.
