Young filmmaker Rahul Sankrityan made his directorial debut with the romantic horror film Taxiwaala. The movie, headlined by Vijay Deverakonda, emerged as a box-office success. Rahul later directed Shyam Singha Roy, which also fared decently. The director has once again joined hands with Vijay Deverakonda for a film tentatively titled #VD14.
The latest update is that the film’s title and first glimpse will be unveiled on Republic Day, January 26. “The legend of the cursed land gets a name on 26.1.26,” read the social media post made by the production house. A concept poster was also unveiled along with the announcement.
Tollywood’s leading banner Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the film, while it will be presented by Bollywood production house T-Series Films, headed by Bhushan Kumar. Apart from VD14, Vijay Deverakonda also has Rowdy Janardhana in the pipeline.
