After delivering two back to back hits with ‘Drushyam’ and ‘Gopala Gopala’, Victory Venkatesh may soon be acting in Tamil director NV Nirmal’s direction. Apparently, Venky was highly impressed with the script narrated by Nirmal and gave his nod immediately.

Nirmal made his debut with the Tamil thriller ‘Salim’. Starring music composer Vijay Anthony and Aksha as the main leads, the film was released in August 2014 and went on to become a huge hit. Earlier, Venkatesh showed interest in remaking the ‘Salim’. However, the project did not materialize. The film will now be releasing in Telugu as ‘Dr. Salim’ on February 20th.

As per the buzz, Burra Sai Madhav, the writer who impressed everyone with his thought provoking lines in films like ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ and the recent ‘Malli Malli Idhri Rani Roju’, will handle the dialogues. Keep watching this space for more details on this project.
