Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao has always been a staunch supporter of low budget movies and good cinema. During the success meet function of Appatlo Okadundevadu, Dasari said that reviews and ratings are playing a crucial role in the success of low budget movies and the many lives dependant on them.
Dasari then went on to announce that he is going to float a team of 6 critics named ‘Good Film Promoters’. The group’s main mission is to give honest reviews to low budget movies and participate in their success. Definitely an interesting move, but we will have to wait until it materializes.
