The murky social media wars between the die-hard fans of Tamil stars Vijay and Ajith needs to introduction. Fans of both the top heroes often lock horns with each other by trending some ridiculous hashtags. Something of that sort has happened yesterday.
Yesterday, Vijay fans began trending the hashtag #ThalapathyBDayCDP on Twitter and Facebook in a run-up to celebrate Vijay’s birthday on June 22. To counter this, several overenthusiastic Ajith fans started trending #June22VijayDeathDay. While this insensitive and absurd hashtag did hurt all the Vijay fans, they didn’t counter Ajith fans with some more negativity, but went on to steal everyone’s hearts by trending #LongLiveAjithSir.
It’s heartwarming to see that both #ThalapathyBDayCDP and #LongLiveAjithSir are trending at 1st and 3rd positions on Twitter India trends since last night.
