Released on August 15, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s romantic entertainer, Geetha Govindam, went on to become a huge blockbuster and cemented Vijay’s reputation as a box-office winner. The film completes its 100-day theatrical run today.
Made with a modest budget of around 10 crores, Geetha Govindam had collected a worldwide gross of nearly 130 crores with a distributor share of 68.40 crores. Vijay-Rashmika’s chemistry and Gopi Sundar’s beautiful music were the major highlights of this Parasuram directorial. Bunny Vas had produced the film under GA2 banner.
