Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, which failed to impress the majority of audiences. Now, the actor’s Bollywood debut film, which was due for release for many months, is finally releasing to entertain audiences.

The OTT platform JioCinema has officially announced that Mumbaikar will be released directly on its platform on June 2, 2023. A teaser of the movie has also been released in which Vijay Sethupathi is shown as a gangster who kidnaps a kid. What happened next and how Vijay Sethupathi faced the heat forms the rest of the story. The movie will also be available to stream in Tamil and Telugu.

Directed by famous DOP Santosh Sivan, the movie also has Vikrant Massey, Tanya Maniktala and Raghav Binani in prominent roles. Lokesh Kanagaraj penned the script for this movie, which is produced by HR Pictures and Jio Studio. Salil Amrute and Ram Surendar took care of the film’s music.
