Yesterday, superstar Vijay arrived on a bicycle in Chennai to cast his vote for the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. This made headlines but also created a controversy of sorts.
Some say that Vijay indirectly targeted the BJP for hiking the fuel prices and he showed his displeasure in his own way by arriving on a bicycle.
But Vijay’s spokesperson told the media that all this is fake news and Vijay rode a bicycle only as the polling booth was near to his home and the lanes were narrow for his car to be parked there.
The spokesman also requested the press not to create any controversy reading this and make it a political issue.
Vijay is a man who has been in the news for his political entry time and again. But the actor has denied it all the time.
